Shaun Urwin, New Construction Specialist, REALTOR®

My real estate career started in 2004 as an onsite agent in Southwest Boise with Blackstead Building Company where I sold homes for the biggest new construction brokerage at that time. It was a peak time in the market and I was thrown right into the whirlwind of new construction where I had to learn quickly on the fly. It was sink or swim... and also the best thing that could have ever happened to me! I spent three great, fast-paced years during the height of the real estate market where I maximized the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of the industry. This experience launched me into in the prestigious, highly-desirable Hidden Springs Community. By 2008, when the market took a turn for the worse, I moved my focus to South Boise, selling in both Sonata Hills and Hazelwood Village communities. It was the best move, even with a market slowing down drastically, as I was able to represent multiple builders in a wide range of price points, expanding my knowledge of the product, price points, clientele, and different market conditions. By 2010, I was marketing for several builders in Spurwing Greens in Eagle where I got my first taste of the Country Club lifestyle. All these experiences have molded me into the well-rounded, knowledgeable Realtor I am today. Throughout my career, I have been able to represent most of the finest builders and developers in the Treasure Valley. Additionally, I am proud to have nurtured countless new builders into the industry, helping them grow their businesses from ground level to becoming a full-fledged major player in the Treasure Valley new construction marketplace. I not only value my builder and developer clients but have been able to guide countless buyers through the process of building and/or buying their dream home as well. With 16 years in the industry, I have forged lifelong relationships with the MLS Realtors by going above and beyond to service them and their clients during each build job transaction. In the real estate industry, I truly believe that all a Realtor really has is their good reputation. Thus, I strive every day, with every communication, transaction, and interaction, to earn trust with everyone I meet in this industry: from buyers to builders, to developers, sellers, fellow agents, subcontractors, appraisers, inspectors, lenders, title/escrow… you name it! We are all a BIG family working hand-in-hand to do what we love and achieve one major goal: help sellers sell and buyers buy in the most smooth transaction possible. I am able to offer expansive experience to an industry I love so much. My heart and focus will always be #1 in new construction but have built a team to help with other avenues of residential real estate, offering my services to anyone who wants to develop, build, buy, or sell. My motto is "Building Trust Through Product Knowledge" but building relationships and dreams is really what it is all about! I am fortunate to have been raised right by the two greatest parents who taught me the importance of service and relationships: “Thanks, Mom and Dad!”

Born and raised in Idaho, Lisa is passionate about what makes this magnificent state so unique and beautiful. This passion naturally translates with ease into her real estate career. Her lively personality and genuine love of people, blended with a high level of integrity, polished communication, and sophistication, make her a powerful asset for any client.

The idea of building neighborhoods where people create joyful, lasting memories is one of the most satisfying aspects of the real estate industry. Lisa began her career in new home building and land development, using creativity and hard work to build and enhance the community. She offers a vast degree of expertise and business acumen with the ability to service a wide array of clientele including developers, builders, investors, and homeowners (buyers/sellers). She doesn't view buying/selling real estate as merely a transaction, but an opportunity to build valuable relationships by using her ingenuity to assist clients in fulfilling their goals and dreams.

Growing up with an appreciation for classic cars (thanks to her father), Lisa loves attending car shows and participating in the Parade Of Homes with her real estate mascot - a 1969 Chevelle SS called 'Honey Bee'. She also finds joy in seeing her community thrive by supporting local shops, restaurants, bookstores, and business owners. As a true Idaho girl drawn to the vibrant, energetic amenities of the Treasure Valley and rugged outdoors, Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her talented husband, two beautiful daughters, and two loving dogs floating the river, white water rafting, biking the greenbelt, hiking the many foothills trails, fishing in the picturesque lakes and rivers, and soaking in many of the natural hot springs. In her opinion, "There is no better place to call home!"
